During the summer of 1922, a group of 12 men endeavored to form a volunteer fire company in Port Monmouth, New Jersey. Inspired by other local volunteer organizations, the group held several meetings and in November of that year, a final meeting was held at the Port Monmouth School to incorporate the Port Monmouth Fire Co. No.1. This year we celebrate the 100th Anniversary of that final meeting and incorporation of our all-volunteer organization!
On October 8th, join the members of Port Monmouth Fire Company as we celebrate the 100th Anniversary of the founding of the Port Monmouth Fire Company! Open to the entire community, we'll have food, drinks, games and live music!
In honor of our 100th year of service, we are currently selling 100th Anniversary Challenge Coins as a fundraiser! All proceed benefit Port Monmouth Fire Company. The coins are Maltese cross shaped and on the front, features the standard Port Monmouth Fire Co. maltese cross design, with a red background. On the reverse, the text "Centennial", "100 and "1922 - 2022" appear surrounded in blue.
Supplies are limited and will be sold on a first come, first serve basis. Contact us on social media or via this form for additional information on how to purchase.
